HI!
I am a wife, a mom, an artist, a doula, a massage therapist, an organizer, a caretaker, a seeker, a contemplator, and generally positive person. One day in 2018 I was Santa in the fourth of July parade the next day I was in the emergency room at the hospital about to start the next chapter of my life – recovering from advanced stage three colon cancer.
This blog is about my journey with cancer and life in general. Trying to keep my chin up and seek the blessings and gifts that sometimes seem to be hiding behind all the dark stuff. I am not saying everything happens for a reason or any of that, I just know everyday there is potential for something to be thankful for. I feel if I complain myself through life there is so much I am going to miss, so I am choosing to walk with my head high and my eyes open.
I hope you enjoy what you find here 🙂
Best,
Kate
